Hawah Beach
This is more isolated and makes a perfect escape for tired soul seeking an escape from the crowds. It is situated right opposite to Lighthouse shore. As water current is strong here, travellers cannot partake in swimming at the Hawah Beach. However, you can sit here for hours and enjoy its natural beauty all day long.

Karamana River
A visit to Kovalam can never end without exploring its famed backwaters at the Karamana River. Hop on a traditional houseboat and witness charismatic vistas of coconut and pepper plantations and paddy fields all around as you move forward on pristine waters.

Vellayani Lake

Halcyon Castle
Also famous with the name of Napier Museum, Halcyon Castle was raised in 1932 by Sri Rama Varma Valiya Koil Thampuran. It was earlier a summer escape. Later Kerala Government bought it in 1964. Today it stands as a 5-star luxury hotel offering guests an unmatched stay experience in the lap of nature. Architecture of this ancient palace is remarkable and makes your stay worth remembering.

Kovalam Beach
With a 17 kilometre long coastline, Kovalam Beach is made by combining three beautiful, crescent-shaped beaches - Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach and Samudra Beach. Many fishermen can be seen here indulging in their daily activity. Kovalam Beach is also dotted with many food joints where you can taste mouth-watering local food.
